Effective September 16, 2026

tendry is a product of Connection Built (“tendry,” “Connection Built,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit gettendry.com, create or use a tendry account, use the tendry service, or contact us.

We built tendry around organizational clarity, and we believe privacy should be clear too.

1.Information we collect

Information you provide directly

We may collect information you provide when you create an account, establish an organization, use tendry, make a purchase, or contact us. This may include:

  • your name
  • email address
  • account and login information
  • organization name
  • organization website
  • billing plan and subscription status
  • support requests and feedback
  • information you enter into tendry about your organization

The organizational information entered into tendry may include information about systems, operational methods, people, responsibilities, connections, processes, and related organizational context. We refer to information submitted by or on behalf of an organization as “Organization Content.”

Information about people within an organization

tendry may allow an organization to record limited information about people involved in its operations, such as:

  • name
  • work role
  • organizational involvement
  • system responsibilities
  • transition status
  • relevant work contact information

tendry is not intended to be an employee record system, HR system, donor database, medical record system, or repository for highly sensitive personal information.

Organizations are responsible for ensuring they have an appropriate basis to enter information about their staff, volunteers, board members, contractors, or other people into tendry.

Payment information

Payments and subscriptions are processed through Stripe. tendry does not receive or store your complete payment-card number. We may receive and store payment-related information from Stripe such as:

  • Stripe customer identifiers
  • subscription identifiers
  • billing plan
  • payment status
  • trial dates
  • renewal dates
  • invoice or payment status

Stripe processes payment information according to its own privacy and security practices.

Website discovery

If you choose to provide your organization’s public website to tendry, tendry may inspect publicly available information from that website in order to suggest systems or tools your organization may use. Anything tendry discovers is treated as a suggestion until a person confirms it.

Technical and usage information

When you use the website or application, we may automatically receive technical information such as:

  • browser type
  • device information
  • IP address
  • timestamps
  • pages or routes visited
  • authentication and session information
  • error and diagnostic information
  • application version
  • limited usage information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service

We do not intend to collect the contents of private organizational forms or records merely for analytics.

2.How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide and operate tendry
  • authenticate users
  • create and manage organizations
  • maintain organization memberships and permissions
  • process subscriptions and billing
  • provide tendry’s organizational continuity features
  • generate maps, responsibility views, flows, and recommendations based on information your organization has provided
  • respond to support requests
  • diagnose technical issues
  • maintain security
  • improve product usability and reliability
  • communicate important service, account, billing, or security information
  • comply with legal obligations

We do not sell personal information.

We do not use Organization Content to sell unrelated products to your organization.

tendry is designed to help organizations understand and improve what they already use, not to create a marketplace for third-party software.

3.Organization Content

Your organization retains its rights to the information it enters into tendry.

You grant us permission to process Organization Content only as necessary to provide, secure, maintain, support, and improve the tendry service.

We do not claim ownership of your Organization Content.

Users should only enter information they are authorized to provide.

4.Information you should not store in tendry

tendry is not a password manager or secrets vault. Please do not store:

  • passwords
  • password hints
  • recovery codes
  • multi-factor authentication secrets
  • API keys
  • full payment-card numbers
  • bank account credentials
  • Social Security numbers
  • medical records
  • protected health information
  • other highly sensitive credentials or regulated personal information

tendry may allow you to record contextual information such as the email used for an account or where access is managed, but the credential itself should remain in an appropriate secure system.

5.How we share information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate tendry.

These may include providers that support:

  • cloud hosting and database services
  • authentication
  • payment processing
  • transactional email
  • website hosting
  • error monitoring and technical infrastructure

These providers receive information only as necessary for the services they perform for us and operate under their own contractual and privacy obligations. For example, tendry currently uses infrastructure including Supabase for application database and authentication capabilities and Stripe for payment processing.

We may also disclose information if reasonably necessary to:

  • comply with law or valid legal process
  • protect the rights, safety, or security of users, tendry, or others
  • investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents
  • complete a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate protections

We do not sell personal information to advertisers.

6.Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information. These include measures such as authentication, access controls, organization-level permissions, encryption in transit, database access policies, and server-side authorization for sensitive actions.

No online service can guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for limiting access to your tendry account appropriately.

If you believe your account or organizational information has been compromised, contact us promptly through our Support page.

7.Data retention

We retain account, organization, and service information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • provide tendry
  • maintain organizational continuity records
  • meet contractual obligations
  • resolve disputes
  • prevent fraud or abuse
  • comply with legal obligations

Cancellation of a tendry subscription does not automatically delete an organization’s records. This is intentional so that organizational knowledge is not immediately lost because of a billing change.

Organizations may contact us regarding deletion or other data requests.

Backup or archival copies may remain for a limited period after deletion where reasonably necessary for security, disaster recovery, or legal compliance.

8.Your choices and rights

You may update much of your tendry information within the service.

You may also contact us to request assistance with:

  • accessing personal information
  • correcting personal information
  • deleting personal information
  • closing an account
  • questions about how information is used

Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional privacy rights. We may need to verify your identity or authority before completing certain requests.

If an organization controls the information you are asking about, we may direct your request to that organization or require confirmation of your authority.

9.Cookies and similar technologies

tendry uses cookies, local storage, or similar browser technologies that are necessary for:

  • authentication
  • session management
  • security
  • remembering application state
  • basic operation of the service

Website analytics

On our public website (gettendry.com) we also use Google Analytics and PostHog to understand how the site is found and used — for example which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and which links are used. These tools set an anonymous identifier and collect general usage and approximate location information. IP addresses are anonymized where available, and we do not use this information for advertising.

Analytics runs only on the public website. It is not used inside the tendry application, and Organization Content is never shared with these analytics providers.

A notice appears on your first visit, and you can decline at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer. Declining stops analytics and clears the related cookies from your browser. Cookies required to operate and secure tendry remain in place, because the service cannot function without them.

10.Children

tendry is designed for organizations and adult users.

tendry is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek to collect personal information directly from children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to tendry, please contact us.

11.International use

tendry is currently operated from the United States.

If you access tendry from another country, information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

12.Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as tendry develops.

If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide reasonable notice where appropriate.

We will not materially change how we use existing personal information in a manner inconsistent with prior promises without appropriate notice or consent where required.

13.Contact us
